A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in Saint Augustine, FL, supporting K-8 students across multiple school sites within the district. This itinerant position involves working across four elementary and middle schools, focusing on providing make-up therapy minutes. The assignment runs from January 5, 2025, through March 27, 2026, with the potential to extend for the final six weeks of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-8 students across four school locations
- Provide make-up therapy minutes as needed to ensure compliance with student IEPs
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to support student success
- Travel between Cunningham Creek Elementary, Hickory Creek Elementary, Valley Ridge Academy, and Pine Island Academy
- Maintain documentation and therapy reports in compliance with district and state requirements
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload efficiently
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with school personnel and families
