A full-time opportunity is available for experienced Speech Language Pathologists to support students in a K-12 school setting in the Jacksonville area. This role involves delivering speech and language therapy services to pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade students, primarily with mild to moderate needs. The position is itinerant, requiring work across multiple school locations within the district.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60 students
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology licensure
- Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school settings, particularly ages Pre K-12
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple campuses effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with school staff and families
This contract-based position requires availability for approximately 35 hours each week, starting as soon as possible through late May 2026. The role demands onsite presence and is not open to remote or VOCO arrangements at this time.
