This role focuses on delivering impactful speech and language therapy services to young learners, helping them develop essential communication skills in a supportive educational environment. The position is structured as a contract for the current school year (CSY) and offers flexibility with part-time or full-time schedules.
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Broomall, PA, serving the Delaware County area.
- Hours typically 35 per week; part-time candidates available for at least 2 days per week are encouraged to apply.
- Typical hours for full-time SLPs are 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language intervention to students in the elementary school and early intervention programs.
- Manage caseloads effectively with collaboration among three SLPs in the Early Intervention program.
- Deliver services across various zones including Upper Darby, Yeadon, Broomall, Lansdowne, and Aston, with flexibility in assignment areas.
- Create individualized therapy plans that address the unique needs of each student.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification preferred.
- Experience in school settings, specifically with children in elementary grades and early intervention programs.
- Willingness to adapt to different geographic zones to meet student needs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
