A licensed School Psychologist opportunity is available for a full-time (37.5 hours/week) contract position serving middle school students (grades 6-12) in a K-12 public school setting. This on-site role is located in Wilmington, DE, and offers a contract duration through June 12, 2026, with an immediate start date.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to identify student learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students
- Using data to support interventions and promote student academic success and social-emotional well-being
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware School Psychologist licensure is required
