A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available in Wilmington, DE, supporting middle school students (grades 6-12) at a K-12 school. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, requiring on-site presence and adherence to Delaware state licensure for school psychologists. Candidates with prior school experience are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for middle school students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families.
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support students social, emotional, and academic development.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives aimed at student success.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal regulations regarding student services.
Qualifications:
- Active Delaware School Psychologist licensure required.
- Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred, particularly with middle school populations.
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, data interpretation, and report writing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, educators, and school staff.
- Capable of working onsite full time (37.5 hours/week) through the contract duration.
