Role Summary
As a bilingual (Spanish/English) SLP in Mesquite, TX, you will provide speech and language therapy services across multiple campuses as part of an itinerant assignment. You will have an office based in the districts Student Support Center and will be able to work one day per week from home to complete indirect services such as documentation and planning.
Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations in both English and Spanish.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
Provide direct and indirect services to students across assigned campuses.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote communication development.
Complete required documentation, progress reports, and compliance tasks.
Requirements (Texas)
Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Texas state licensure or certification.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required.
Experience working in school-based or educational settings preferred.
Employment Options
Local Contract
Full-time, hybrid position in Mesquite, TX.
One day per week remote for indirect services.
Hourly rate: $49$57/hour (based on experience and qualifications).
