A contract position is available for a Physical Therapist to provide onsite services within a K-12 school setting in Dallas, TX. This role involves supporting three students across multiple campuses with specialized physical therapy interventions to enhance their educational experience and functional mobility.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy assessments, treatments, and documentation for students requiring services.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly to meet evolving needs.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and school policies.
- Participate in relevant meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Texas.
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational or pediatric settings.
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques, developmental milestones, and school-based therapy requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered care.
