Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This Contract Speech-Language Pathologist position offers the opportunity to provide specialized support in a school setting. Serving students in Lawrence, KS, the role focuses on delivering assessments, therapy, and individualized plans to help students with speech and communication challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to monitor progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
- Participate in meetings and provide communication support as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), ideally with school-based experience
- Holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
