A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 setting in the Atlanta area. This position is contracted to provide direct therapy services in-person at one assigned school, primarily prioritized at Sarah Smith Elementary School. The role requires active Georgia SLP licensure and Department of Education certification, with a commitment to 35 hours per week and no schedule flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students across the K-12 spectrum
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and procedures
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Georgia
- Valid Georgia Department of Education certification as an SLP
- Experience providing speech therapy in a school environment preferred
- Ability to effectively manage caseload and prioritize student therapy needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration within the school community
