Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services for K-12 students in an onsite school setting within the Atlanta area. This full-time, contract role requires delivering direct therapy to support student communication needs while adhering to a 35-hour workweek without overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide individualized speech-language therapy to students across the K-12 spectrum.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress according to school and district guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with state requirements and district policies for therapy services.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Georgia SLP licensure and DOE certification.
- Experience delivering direct therapy services within a school or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language development and intervention techniques for school-age children.
- Ability to work onsite full-time at designated schools in the Atlanta area.
- Commitment to working 35 hours per week with no overtime.
- Position is not suitable for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Location:
- Onsite position within the Atlanta metropolitan area, with primary focus on placement at Sarah Smith Elementary School. Centennial Academy is an alternate site.
