Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide direct therapy services for K-12 students in the Alpharetta, GA area. This role supports a public school district with a commitment to delivering high-quality speech and language services to children within a structured 35-hour workweek. The assignment runs as a casual school year (CSY) contract from ASAP through May 28, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to assigned students following individualized education plans
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports in accordance with district policies
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
- Adhere to all applicable licensure and certification standards
Qualifications:
- Current and active Speech-Language Pathology licensure for the State of Georgia
- Valid Georgia Department of Education certification for school-based SLP practice
- Experience working with the K-12 population in school settings preferred
- Ability to work on-site full-time, with no remote or hybrid options available
- Must be able to maintain a caseload limited to the assigned hours without overages
- SLPA candidates will not be considered for this role
Location & Assignment Details:
- On-site work required within the Atlanta area, specific school assignment to be determined with priority given to Sarah Smith Elementary School, or Centennial Academy as alternate site options
- Monday through Friday, full-time, 35 hours per week
- Contract duration through May 28, 2026
