Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide direct therapy services within a K-12 public school setting in the Atlanta area. This full-time, contract role requires on-site presence with no remote or hybrid options. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 28, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students within assigned schools, primarily serving children in elementary and middle school grades.
- Manage and maintain caseloads by adhering to district guidelines and schedules.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and district personnel to support student communication goals.
- Maintain licensure compliance and documentation according to state and district requirements.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure for the state of Georgia.
- Valid Georgia Department of Education (DOE) certification.
- Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings.
- Ability to work strictly on-site in the Atlanta area with a commitment to a 35-hour workweek.
- No Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) candidates will be considered.
Location:
- On-site services across schools in the Atlanta area, with priority placement at Sarah Smith Elementary School or Centennial Academy.
