An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position supports student development during a leave of absence, providing essential therapeutic interventions across a diverse student population.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and document progress in compliance with educational and therapeutic standards.
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each student, promoting independence and academic success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insight to support educational goals.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure or certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in school environments, preferably K-12.
