Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Physical Therapist is needed to provide full-time, itinerant services across multiple K-12 schools within Lake County. This role involves working with a caseload of approximately 40 active students and consultations, spanning various locations throughout the district.
Location: Tavares, FL
Assignment Duration: ASAP through May 29, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, 8 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
Caseload Details: Serving students across multiple schools with an itinerant schedule based on district needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students in K-12 settings
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students and provide ongoing consultations
- Travel between schools within the district as required
Qualifications:
- Current Professional Physical Therapist license
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload efficiently
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
