Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a K-12 school located in Clermont, FL, within Lake County. The role involves providing itinerant speech therapy services across the district, primarily focused on one school, with a caseload of approximately 40 active students and additional consultations. The contract runs from ASAP to May 29, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to K-12 students, addressing a variety of communication disorders.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student assessments.
- Provide itinerant services across multiple schools throughout the district.
Qualifications:
- Valid professional licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-aged children, K-12.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Must hold licensure; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible.
