A full-time Physical Therapist position is available to provide support within a K-12 school setting in Clermont, FL. This role involves working itinerantly across multiple schools in the county to deliver essential therapy services to students with a variety of needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to approximately 40 active students, supporting their educational goals and physical development.
- Provide consultations and collaborate with school staff to ensure individualized treatment plans are effectively implemented.
- Travel between multiple school locations within the district to serve a diverse student population across all grade levels (K-12).
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all professional and district guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
- Experience working with school-aged children in an educational environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students and coordinate services across multiple sites.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to work with students, families, and school personnel.
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Clermont, FL with itinerant assignments throughout the district.
- Full-time schedule, typically 8 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid break.
- Immediate start date, with contract duration through May 29, 2026.
