A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Clermont, FL, supporting K-12 students within a vibrant school district. This contract role, starting ASAP through May 29, 2026, involves itinerant responsibilities covering multiple schools across the county, with one primary assignment at an elementary school location. Part-time candidates will also be considered; however, SLP Assistants (SLPAs) and Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are not eligible for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluations, therapy, and consultation for approximately 40 active students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and federal guidelines.
- Travel between schools within the district to deliver services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Professional Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Experience working in K-12 school settings with diverse student populations.
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
