A leave replacement Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in an elementary school setting serving both general and special education students. This role will be located in Spring Lake Park, MN, within a school district that supports comprehensive speech services for students in grades 5-8 at Westwood Intermediate. The position is a full-time, leave-to-substitute (LTS) contract running from March to June 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services in both general and special education environments
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Conduct speech and language assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies to maximize outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology (M.A./M.S. or Ph.D.)
- Current Minnesota State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong creative planning and organizational skills
- Highly effective interpersonal communication abilities
