Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified in school-based practice to support K-12 students in Calumet City, IL. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans focused on speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress and academic achievement
- Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to advocate for student needs
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience delivering speech-language services in K-12 school settings
- Strong skills in assessing and treating a variety of speech and language impairments in school-aged children
- Ability to effectively engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
