A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services within a K-12 school setting in the Simla, CO area. This leave position spans from January 5, 2026, to March 23, 2026, and requires onsite presence, supporting an itinerant caseload across several Eastern Colorado school districts.
Responsibilities include delivering direct OT services to students with varied needs across multiple locations, such as Burlington Elementary School, Limon High and Middle Schools, Center-Based Programs, and other district sites. The provider will handle paperwork, planning, and attend IEP meetings, with the option to complete these administrative tasks remotely. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage a caseload comprising approximately 33 students dispersed among several schools and districts.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure and experience in school-based therapy services
- Ability to deliver itinerant services across multiple school sites, adapting to diverse student needs
- Strong skills in completing documentation, developing plans, and participating in IEP meetings
- Effective communication and organizational skills to coordinate with educators, families, and support staff
- Willingness to work primarily onsite across varied locations within Eastern Colorado
Location:This role requires onsite service delivery in multiple schools throughout Eastern Colorado, including Burlington, Limon, Flagler, Woodrow, Hugo, Anton, and Karval, with headquarters coordinated near Simla, CO.
