A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Social Worker to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in Cicero, IL. This full-time, contract position spans the current school year, providing vital social work services that foster student well-being and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive social work services to students, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and family support.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop strategies that enhance students social and emotional development.
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to students needs.
- Advocate for students rights and connect families with community resources.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state policies.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in Social Work.
- Valid State or District School Social Work Endorsement/Licensure (PEL).
- Experience working within school environments, preferably serving K-12 populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain confidentiality.
