Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to provide essential services within K-12 school settings in Memphis, TN. This role involves working directly on-site in various schools with age groups ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade. The position is contracted for the current school year, starting as soon as possible and concluding on May 21, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing evaluations for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student communication needs
- Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide ongoing progress reports
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Tennessee Department of Education Certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Tennessee Board of Health License
- Previous experience working with students across a wide age range (Pre-K through 12th grade) preferred
- Strong understanding of school-based speech-language pathology practices
- Ability to effectively manage caseloads and maintain accurate records
Location and Schedule:
- On-site only (no remote or hybrid options)
- Full-time position (35 hours per week)
- Assignments may vary and include multiple schools within the district
