Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services within a K-12 educational setting, supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This full-time contract role is based on-site in Collierville, TN, serving various schools within the larger district context. The position requires hands-on delivery of speech therapy, comprehensive evaluations, and collaboration with educational teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments across a diverse student population.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in compliance with educational standards.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including IEPs and progress reports.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant state and district policies, including Tennessee DOE certification requirements.
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee Department of Education Certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Tennessee Board of Health License.
- Demonstrated experience or education in school-based speech-language pathology.
- Ability to manage a caseload that varies in student age and needs, from early childhood through high school.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
Location:
- Collierville, TN (on-site only, no remote or hybrid options).
Contract Details:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week.
- Contract duration from ASAP through May 21, 2026 (End of School Year).
- Assignments and caseloads will fluctuate and may include multiple school sites within the district.
