A Physical Therapist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Crestview, FL, serving K-12 students across multiple school sites. This full-time, itinerant role involves supporting a caseload of approximately 40 students, primarily of elementary age, within the Okaloosa County School District.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Travel between multiple school locations as assigned within the district
- Maintain compliance with district policies and state licensing requirements
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Valid Physical Therapist license issued by the Florida Department of Health
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
Location: Crestview, FL, with travel required to various schools in the surrounding area
Schedule: Full-time at 37.5 hours per week, starting ASAP through June 2, 2026
