A Physical Therapist opportunity is available in Niceville, Florida, serving multiple K-12 schools within the district. This full-time, itinerant role requires providing therapeutic services to a caseload of approximately 40 students, primarily at the elementary level, across various school sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students with individualized needs.
- Collaborate with educational staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student development and participation in school activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal education regulations.
- Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the diverse needs of students in a school environment.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current Physical Therapist license issued by the Florida Department of Health.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings preferred.
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple school sites.
