An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in a school setting, located in Everett, WA. This contract position spans the entire school year and focuses on providing tailored occupational therapy services to enhance student development and learning.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized occupational therapy evaluations and interventions for students.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement effective treatment plans.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy goals as needed.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with school policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Washington State.
- Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings, preferably with K-12 students.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to school therapy services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently.
