A K-12 school in Lynnwood, WA is seeking an experienced professional to fulfill the role of School Psychologist for the current school year on a contract basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
- Providing counseling and support services to students to promote social-emotional well-being
- Consulting with school staff to implement strategies that support positive student outcomes and address mental health concerns
- Maintaining accurate records and complying with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards
Desired qualifications and skills:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure as required by Washington state
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention techniques, and special education laws
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience working with K-12 students across diverse backgrounds
