A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting in Seattle, WA. This role involves providing therapeutic services designed to enhance students participation and success in educational activities. The contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference throughout the academic year.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals
- Implement evidence-based interventions focused on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Provide consultative support and training to school staff to promote inclusive practices
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in Washington State
- Experience working in K-12 school environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques relevant to educational settings
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize tasks efficiently
