Seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings to provide support to K-12 students in Bothell, WA. This contract position spans the full school year and offers the opportunity to work directly with children and adolescents to enhance their functional skills and educational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students occupational therapy needs within a school environment.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate therapy goals with academic objectives.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team decision-making regarding student progress.
- Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapy license with credentials in school-based practice preferred.
- Demonstrated experience providing OT services in K-12 educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones and school-related functional needs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
