A K-12 school in Seattle, WA, is seeking a qualified professional to serve as a School Psychologist on a contract basis through the current school year (CSY). This role is ideal for individuals with experience in providing psychological services within educational settings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student learning and well-being
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with school policies and legal requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or certification applicable to the state of Washington
- Experience working in K-12 educational environments
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing, intervention strategies, and educational law
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently within the contract duration
