This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an exciting opportunity to support students in an elementary school setting in Guyton, GA. The role includes contract assignments for the 2026 school year, with specific dates and coverage for a maternity leave period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary and K-8 students according to individual education plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to assess student needs and develop effective communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Georgia SLP License and Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Certification are mandatory.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is highly preferred.
- Experience providing speech therapy services in school environments, particularly with elementary or K-8 students.
- Ability to work onsite full-time and maintain effective communication with the school community.
Location & Schedule:
- Position based onsite in Guyton, GA, with 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract periods include:
- January 5, 2026 May 22, 2026 (Elementary School role)
- February 2, 2026 approximately 9-12 weeks for maternity leave coverage (K-8 School role)
