This role focuses on delivering speech and language services within elementary and K-8 school settings. Position Duration:
- January 5, 2026 May 22, 2026 (Elementary)
- February 2, 2026 approximately 9-12 weeks (K-8 Maternity Leave Coverage)
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Work Environment: Onsite only
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals within the educational environment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Provide therapy services aligned with best practices and state certification requirements.
Qualifications:
- Certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathology license and Georgia Professional Standards Certification (GaPSC).
- Experience working with elementary and K-8 student populations preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to work onsite full-time in Savannah, GA.
