A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Columbus, GA, serving K-12 students across multiple schools. The role offers a contract opportunity through May 21, 2026, with a caseload of approximately 35-40 students requiring individualized direct therapy services. This position is ideal for candidates able to work at least four days per week onsite, totaling 25+ hours, with a standard workweek of 37.5 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students across at least two schools.
- Manage and tailor individual caseloads based on district needs.
- Potentially supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFY).
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP License.
- Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Educator Certification.
- Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of four onsite days per week.
- Experience supervising SLPAs or SLP-CFY candidates is preferred but not required.
