A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Fortson, GA, serving K-12 students. This contract role spans the current school year with an anticipated assignment from ASAP to May 21, 2026. The role requires a commitment of approximately 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility for candidates able to provide at least four days onsite (25+ hours weekly).
Key responsibilities include delivering all direct speech therapy services, managing a caseload estimated between 35 to 40 students across at least two schools. The caseload will encompass students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Additionally, the SLP may have supervisory duties over a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or SLP Clinical Fellow in Year (SLP-CFY).
Qualifications and skills:
- Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) educator certification
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working in school settings serving K-12 students
- Ability to manage caseloads and supervise support staff effectively
- Flexibility to work onsite at least four days per week
