Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting in Columbus, GA. This contract role runs from ASAP through May 21, 2026, with a flexible schedule option for candidates able to work at least four days onsite (minimum 25 hours per week). The caseload involves providing direct therapy services to students across at least two schools, serving approximately 35-40 students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Opportunities to supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or an SLP Clinical Fellow (CFY) may be included.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to individual students K-12
- Manage caseload according to district requirements, covering multiple schools
- Supervise SLPA or SLP-CFY as assigned
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication goals
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) educator certificate
- Experience working in school settings supporting K-12 students preferred
