A full-time, onsite occupational therapy opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting near Columbus, GA. This contract position spans an entire semester, starting January 1, 2026, through May 21, 2026. The role supports student therapy services within a public school district, with specific school assignments to be determined based on district needs and candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students across the K-12 spectrum
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with district and state regulations
- Adjust caseload and therapy strategies according to evolving student requirements and district priorities
Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active Georgia Occupational Therapist (OT) License
- Minimum of one year clinical experience in occupational therapy, preferably including pediatric populations
- Comfortable working in diverse school environments with students of varying needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Additional Considerations:
- Contract duration: January 1, 2026 May 21, 2026, full-time (approximately 37.5 hours per week)
- Caseload will be determined based on candidate expertise and district needs
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) candidates with relevant experience may be considered
- This position is not currently open for Virtual Occupational Therapy (VOCO)
