An immediate opening is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support students from Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grade in an elementary school setting. This leave replacement position runs from December through April, approximately 3 to 4 months, with a 35-hour workweek, Monday through Friday. The role is onsite in Paterson, NJ, providing essential speech and language services to support student communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to PreK-4th grade students
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Adhere to all school policies and state regulations for speech therapy services
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active New Jersey SLP license and Educator license required
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to start immediately with active NJ licensure within the last year to enable archiving
- Must be available to work onsite; remote service (VOCO) not permitted in NJ
- Candidates with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or Clinical Fellows (CFs) will not be considered
