Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide services for students in PreK through 4th grade at an elementary school in Hackensack, NJ. This leave replacement contract position will run from ASAP through approximately April, with an expected duration of three to four months. The workweek consists of 35 hours, Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders for a caseload of students in early elementary grades. The role requires onsite presence only, with no telepractice option available in New Jersey.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Current New Jersey Speech-Language Pathology license
- Valid New Jersey Educator License
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA; no Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or clinical fellows accepted
- Experience working with school-aged children, specifically PreK to 4th grade
- Immediate availability to begin services and ability to maintain active licensure in NJ within the past year
