This contract position spans the current school year with a timeline extending from ASAP until May 22, 2026. The role requires providing services to students across multiple elementary and high schools, including high school and several elementary schools, with a caseload ranging from 50 to 60 students. The specific grouping of schools will be determined based on the candidates experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services via voicotherapy (VOCO) within school environments.
- Conduct teletherapy sessions to effectively support students' speech and language development.
- Collaborate with educational staff to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and comply with all regulatory and licensure requirements.
- Manage a caseload of 50 to 60 students with diverse communication needs within a K-12 framework.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Licensure (SLPA candidates are not eligible).
- Experience practicing in school settings, with proficiency in teletherapy modalities.
- Familiarity with speech-language pathology services for a K-12 student population.
