A 37.5-hour per week contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in voice communication (VOCO) services through teletherapy. The role involves serving a high school caseload of approximately 50 students. This position supports diverse student needs and is conducted fully via telepractice.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and therapy focusing on voice communication
- Manage a caseload of roughly 50 students at the secondary school level
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
- Collaborate remotely with educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state licensure requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure (SLPA not accepted)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Demonstrated experience in teletherapy delivery
- Prior background working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication skills adaptable to virtual platforms
Location:
This remote position supports students attending a high school in the Wetumpka, Alabama area, with teletherapy services delivered from a remote setting.
