An opportunity exists for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide telespeech services within a school setting in Montgomery, AL. This contract role requires delivering voice therapy (VOCO) via teletherapy to support students in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct voice therapy sessions using teletherapy platforms
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students requiring voice-related speech services
- Collaborate remotely with school personnel to track student progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain compliance with licensure regulations and confidentiality standards
- Deliver consistent, high-quality therapy aimed at improving students' communication abilities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (SLPA certification not accepted)
- Experience in school-based SLP services, ideally with a focus on voice disorders
- Proficiency in teletherapy delivery methods and technologies
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to manage caseload independently while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
