Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services for a K-12 school district in Wetumpka, AL. This role is fully remote (VOCO) and involves supporting a caseload of approximately 50 students at the high school level. The contract duration extends from the start date through May 22, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services via teletherapy to K-12 students.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
- Collaborate virtually with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in virtual meetings and professional development sessions as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP licensure appropriate for service in the state.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Proven experience providing teletherapy (tele-speech) services within a school setting.
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of up to 50 students.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with K-12 educational environments and related compliance standards.
