A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-8 students in a vibrant school setting in Arvada, CO. This contract role spans the current school year from December 1, 2025, through May 29, 2026, with flexibility for full-time or part-time hours (37.5-40 hours/week). The position is currently onsite only and open to candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Key responsibilities include delivering direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of 35-40 students across mild/moderate and moderate/severe needs. The role also involves conducting assessments, evaluations, and referrals, as well as participating in IEP and 504 meetings. Collaboration with educators and families to support student communication goals is essential.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Experience working in school settings with children from kindergarten through eighth grade
- Strong skills in direct service delivery, assessments, and educational plan development
- Willingness to work with a diverse range of speech and language disorders
- Readiness for a prescreening call followed by interview as part of the hiring process
