Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available within a K-12 public school setting in the Denver area. This contract role spans from January 7, 2026, through May 21, 2026, offering an opportunity to positively impact students communication and learning in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 25 to 45 students, ranging K-12
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans based on student assessments
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Participating in professional development activities, including up to four funded training days during the second semester
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Delivering services exclusively on-site; virtual or hybrid arrangements are not permitted
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Valid Colorado Department of Education certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with K-12 students within a school setting
- Ability to manage caseload effectively while providing individualized support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educational teams and families
Work schedule consists of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, within Aurora Public Schools in the Denver area. Exact school assignments will be determined based on district need.
