A temporary opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to provide onsite support during a leave of absence from January 26, 2026, to April 17, 2026. This contract position serves elementary students across multiple school locations in the Andover, MN area within a K-12 school setting. The role offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to elementary students following individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with school staff, including educators and support personnel, to integrate therapy goals within the educational environment
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning to support student success
- Ensure compliance with school district policies and regulations
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid physical therapy license appropriate for Minnesota
- Experience working within K-12 school systems preferred
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently across multiple elementary school sites
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and school staff
- Flexibility to work onsite at designated elementary schools as assigned
