A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school in Kerman, CA, for the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This onsite role is ideal for clinicians experienced in school-based speech-language pathology.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP license with 2+ years' experience in California school settings.
- Minimum 1 year of SEIS (Special Education Information System) experience.
- Experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) with facilitators is preferred.
- Ability to manage high caseloads and referrals effectively.
- Candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CF) are welcome to apply.
- Must be available to work onsite; remote work is not an option.
Position Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Caseload approximately 60-65 students total, with 25-30 students requiring speech-only therapy.
- One full-time opening with potential SLPA support.
- Accepting applications from both certified SLPs and SLP Clinical Fellows (CFs); SLPAs alone are not eligible.
- Location: Onsite in Kerman, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs.
- Manage referrals, assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up services in compliance with school district guidelines.
- Oversee and support SLPAs if applicable.
