Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available within a K-12 school setting in Madera, California. This contract role offers the opportunity to work onsite in a dynamic educational environment, supporting students with diverse speech and language needs throughout the academic year.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy to a high caseload of 60-65 students, with 25-30 speech-only students at Alpha Elementary.
- Managing referrals and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Collaborating with teaching staff and supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) where support is available.
- Delivering evidence-based therapy services tailored to individual student needs.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working within California schools.
- At least 1 year of experience with the Special Education Information System (SEIS).
- Experience supervising SLPAs or facilitators is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high caseloads efficiently.
- New graduates holding a Clinical Fellowship (CF) are welcome to apply.
- Bilingual language skills are a plus.
