A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Winter Garden, FL, serving K-12 students through a contract for the current school year. This role is itinerant, providing services across multiple private schools and supporting students from elementary through high school levels. The position requires delivering individualized speech and language therapy to meet diverse student needs within various campus settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor and document student progress regularly.
- Serve students across multiple private school locations itinerantly.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida State License as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) from ASHA.
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related field.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations.
- Ability to manage caseloads across several school sites.
