This opportunity seeks a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide full-time support for students from Pre-K through 2nd grade at an elementary school in Tavares, FL. The position offers an engaging educational environment focused on early learning and literacy development. The contract runs through the end of the school year, with a start date as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering evidence-based speech therapy services to young learners to support communication and language development
- Collaborating with educators and families to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Professional Speech-Language Pathology licensure
- Florida Department of Health license (verification and images of licenses required)
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with early childhood students (Pre-K to 2nd grade)
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
Location: On-site role at an elementary school in Tavares, FL, serving one school site
