A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services primarily for middle and elementary school students. This role involves delivering both direct and indirect speech therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50+ students. The caseload will be shared with another part-time SLP, allowing for balanced distribution of responsibilities. Services will focus on various age groups, including elementary and potentially pre-kindergarten children.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct teletherapy sessions using evidence-based practices tailored to individual student needs.
- Provide assessment, treatment planning, and progress monitoring for students requiring speech-language support.
- Collaborate with a part-time VOCO SLP and an SLPA under supervision to effectively manage caseload responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all therapy sessions and related communications.
- Comply with all district fingerprinting requirements and follow state regulations and guidelines.
- Utilize both direct and indirect intervention strategies to support student communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Services credential (CTC) required.
- Residency within California is mandatory due to district fingerprinting and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and delivering speech services remotely is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and families.
