A part-time contract opportunity is available for a licensed school psychologist to support a K-12 school in North Charleston, SC. This role involves providing psychological services for students within a dynamic educational setting, with a focus on promoting student well-being and academic success from assessment through intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
- Interpret assessment data to inform instructional strategies and behavioral supports.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina state licensure as a school psychologist.
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong ability to assess diverse student needs and design effective interventions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and prioritize responsibilities.
